A rare and unique piece to behold, this original vintage 1960's Yves Saint Laurent Coat, Rendered in a cream wool and lined in silk, is just the piece to add to your couture collection and seasonal wardrobe.
The wide notched pointed collar frames the V shaped neckline. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length sleeves, which boast side slits along each external cuff.The elegant A line of the coat is accented by a fitted and tailored cut along the bodice with a detailed horizontal seam along the bust-line. The cream button fastenings, draw the eye to the elegant tailored darts that run from either side of each armpit to the hemlines. Finishes with delicate collared side pockets, and fully lined in silk, this rare coat is a true collectors piece to behold.

Closures: This coat has 3 button fastenings and an internal press stud
Condition: This coat is in near perfect vintage condition. A small grey wear mark along the top cross over panel of the notched collar this is on the fold of the collar internally. Two small and very minor areas of wear to the cream wool along the front right hand side of the hemline. A few very faint variations of colour to the cream along the front right hand side of the coat along the hipline height. Two small pin sized age marks along the right hand side dart seam. A small light grey impression mark above the left hand side pocket. A few small scattered light grey impression marks to the back of the coat. Pin marks along the back seams of the coat to either side. A small light grey impression mark along the top of the right hand side sleeve. Gentle wear to the silk along the internal press stud. Two small pin sized age marks along the internal silk lining to the left hand side. These minor details are not apparent when the coat is being worn and have been listed out for clarity.
