A true beauty to behold, this original 1940's black needlepoint clutch bag, with a bold floral design, accented by butterflies and dragonflies and finished with delicate face and bird features, is the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection. The rectangular shape of the bag, boasts an envelope design, with a central concealed press stud fastening. The bag opens to a cream rayon lining, and a main external body in a black water pattern rayon. The bag features a large central compartment, with two small side pockets and a larger pocket along the external base beneath the envelope top.

Condition: In good but not perfect vintage condition. The internal press stud clasp shows wear to the fabric around it, this does not affect the clasp but there is a hole to the rayon around it. Light and gentle stitch loss to the needlepoint design along the exterior of the bag. Wear to the leather piping along the corners of the clutch bag. Signs of wear and subtle age marks to the lining.
