Rendered in the softest shade of sand coloured cotton, embellished with floral embroidery in shades of white and green, this original late 1950's dress is a timeless piece to add to your collection.
The rounded neckline, is framed by a simple shoulder line, which sets off the sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice, boasts a central embroidered floral design, which is framed along either side with tailored bust darts. The cinched in waistline, is accented by the gathered pleats of the skirt-line, completing this dress in an iconic late 1950's silhouette. Finished with floral embroidery details along the hemline.

Closures: This dress fastens along the back seam with a 20 inch metal zip and a hook and eye
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. There is a small pin hole along the back right hand side of the bodice. Gentle wear to the edges of the cotton along the armholes. Light age mark along the bottom right hand side of the hemline next to the floral embroidery. These minor imperfections are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
