This mesmerising 1950's cream dress, rendered in a soft cream jersey and embellished with trailing cream soutache in a soft velvet pile, silver claw set rhinestones, pearlescent bugle beads and gun metal silver bugle beads, finished with a blush satin belt, is just the piece for your seasonal everyday wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by pleated gathers along the shoulder lines that drape into soft pleats along each yoke. The 3/4 length sleeves, frame the fitted bodice , which is accented by tailored darts beneath the bust-line. The cinched in waist-line is accented by a waist panel decorated with trailing cream coloured velvet pile soutache embroidery, rhinestones and beads, surrounding a central woven and pleated satin belt detail. The elegant skirt line is accented by triple pleats to either side of the front of the hipline that radiate from the waistline. The back of the dress features a V shaped backline, with pleats that drape from the shoulder lines. Finished with a central bow that drapes into the skirt line, completing this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. There are two small darns along the front of the right hand sleeve just below the shoulder line . A small pin sized age mark along the front right hand side of the bust-line. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
