Rendered in the deepest shade of black velvet and embellished with silver claw set rhinestones, this original 1950's dress, is just the piece to add to your cocktail wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by medium width shoulder straps, which set off the sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts along the bust-line and fitted seams which run along either side of the front of the bodice. The cinched in waistline, draws the eye to the double box pleats positioned either side of the front of the waistband, which drape elegantly along the front of the classic silhouette of the skirt-line. Finished with a scattering of silver claw set rhinestones along the entirety of the dress, this gorgeous piece showcases the classic silhouette of the era. This dress is not lined.
