The bateau cut of the neckline, sets off the scooped design of the backline and sleeveless cut. The shoulder line is accented by curved beaded panels, which frame the arm holes and accent the tailoring along the bust-line, whilst drawing the eye to the decorative trailing beadwork that frames either side of the gown. The fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts beneath the bust-line, which draw the eye to the fitted waistline.The elegant A line silhouette of the skirt, sets off the incredible design of the back of the dress, which features a skirt-train, embellished along either side with trailing beadwork, completing this piece in an iconic and mesmerising 1960's silhouette. This dress is fully lined in green rayon.

Fastenings: This dress fastens with a 16 inch metal zip and a hook and eye along the central part of the backline.
Size: UK 12-14 US 8-10
Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. An area of very gentle yellowing along the right hand armpit. Two very small and light age marks along the front right hand side of the bodice near the tailored bust darts. A small pin sized hole to the shunting silk along the front of the hipline and a very gentle age mark positioned near it. A small pin sized hole along the central part of the skirt-line positioned 16 inches up from the hemline and another positioned 11 inches up from the hemline. A gentle scattering of age marks along the bottom of the skirt-line. A light age mark along the back right hand side of the dress near the base of the zip. Very gentle colour variation to the edges of the left hand side of the train. Gentle wear to the embroidery along the back right hand side of the train. A small area of wear to the shantung silk along the back of the right hand side arm hole. These minor details are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn as the sheen of the shantung silk conceals any minor blemishes.
