This truly breathtaking 1960's Tiffany blue silk chiffon dress, embellished with ice blue claw set rhinestones and glass faceted beaded droplets, is the perfect statement piece for that special occasion.
The rounded neckline is framed by a wide shoulder line and a sleeveless cut. The elegant floating silk chiffon bodice, is decorated with a border of ice clue glass claw set rhinestones along the neckline, edged with blue glass faceted beads, with are set into the claw settings of the base rhinestones. The scattered rhinestone pattern joins the hemline of the bodice in a rhinestone edge, which sets off the central pointed design. The floating bodice, sits above a tailored silk chiffon and silk mesh tulle bodice, which creates a subtle illusion neckline. The cinched in waistline, is accented by matching silk chiffon piping. The elegant silhouette of the dress, drapes from small gathered pleats along the base of the waistline, completing this dress in a truly timeless silhouette. This dress boasts a silk chiffon exterior, overlaid over a crepe silk underlay.

Closures: This dress fastens along the back with a 17 inch metal zip and a hook and loop.
Condition: This dress is good but not perfect vintage condition. A few very light and subtle pulls to the silk chiffon skirt line. A few very small and light age marks are concealed within the drape of the skirt. Very gentle colour variation to the silk chiffon along the edges of the hemline, this appears slightly lighter in colour. There is a small darn to the overlay silk chiffon bodice along the front left hand side of the bodice, this has been done sympathetically and is slightly concealed my a claw set rhinestone. One small rhinestone missing from the back of the bodice. Very faint yellowing to the silk chiffon along the overlay bodice located along the armpit area. These minor details are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
