This sumptuous vintage 1930's peach Champagne coloured silk gown, accented by the most exquisite taupe floral lace details, is a rare piece to behold and to add to your glamorous loungewear collection.
The rounded neckline is framed by a scalloped lace edged slim Peter Pan collar, which draws together centrally with a concealed press stud fastening. The simple shoulder line, is accented by slim internal shoulder pads, which sit along each shoulder seam and along the tops of the sleeves. The puffed sleeves are accented by pleats along the top of each shoulder seam, framed by a panel of floral lace, which draws the eye to the pointed external cut of the sleeves, which are in turn edged with scalloped floral lace panels. The fitted bodice is set off by central matching silk covered button and loop fastenings, which are framed by trailing floral lace panels, which join either side of the yokes. The fitted waistline, is set off by a cross over-cut skirt-line, which draws in internally with concealed press studs and is finished with an external matching silk belt which can be worn fastened along the front or back of the gown. The elegant line of the skirt, drapes along the silhouette and finishes in a subtle train along the back hemline.

Condition: This gown is in near perfect vintage condition. The is a dark spot age mark along the edge of the hemline along the right hand side of the skirt line. The hemline shows gentle age marks to its edges and a few scattered water marks. A few very faint water marks along the front and back of the skirt line. These are minor and only apparent under very close inspection. Two pin sized age marks along the front of the skirt-line below hipline height, again these are very minor and only apparent under certain lights. A small age mark along the right hand side skirt seam just below the waistline. These minor imperfections are not apparent when the gown is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection.
