This iconic 1950's dress, rendered in layers of pink tulle, with delicate circular satin details, is just the piece for that special occasion.
The strapless cut of the dress, features a sweetheart neckline, which is accented by a border of pleated tulle that folds cross itself in a cross over design along the décolletage. The fitted and boned bodice, draws the eye to the cinched in waistline. The elegant full circle cut of the skirt, showcases a tiered tulle overlay, upon which 6 large decorative swirling tulle appliqués are positioned around the skirt line, and sewn in place in delicate pleats by slim pink satin piping, creating added volume to the skirt, whilst drawing the eye to the swirling design details. The pleated tulle hemline of the dress, completes this piece in a truly mesmerising textural and iconic cut. This dress is fully lined in pale pink rayon and has a layer of tulle beneath the outer layer for added volume.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with a 13.5 inch metal zip and a hook and eye.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A very faint age mark along the right hand side front of the bodice just above the waist line. Two small seam mends along the tulle hemline along the front of the skirt. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable under closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
