A rare ensemble to behold, this original 1940's cream rayon sweetheart lingerie set, composed of a bra and underwear, is a true piece of fashion history and is sure to be a favourite in your collection.
The slim rayon shoulder straps of the bra, set off the V shaped décolletage. Embellished with navy blue embroidery along each cup, framing the central double darts along the sternum. The back of the bra is finished with a central elasticated strap, and fastens along the side with 3 pearlescent buttons.
The elasticated waistline of the knickers, gathered the rayon in soft pleats below the waistline. The simple cut, is accented by embroidery along the back, completing this ensemble in a cheeky and playful design.

Fastenings: The bra fastens with 3 buttons along the side seam.
Condition: Bra: In near perfect vintage condition, the elasticated panel along the back has lost its elasticity and may benefit from being replace should you require for the bra to be tighter. A few very small surface pin scratches to the rayon.
Knickers: In near perfect condition. A very small pin sized age mark along the front left hand side just below the waistline. a very light scattering of age marks along the embroidery. These minor details are in no way apparent when the set is being worn, and only apparent upon very close inspection.
