A true beauty of her time, this original 1950's cotton dress, with a pattern of wild flowers in shades of coral, pink, purple, yellow, white, and blue, surrounded with green foliage and a blue linear pattern, is just the piece to welcome the warmer season with.
The rounded neckline is framed by a slim pointed collar. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves, which are edged with turned up cuffs with details points to each external side. The fitted bodice, is accented by bust seams and tailored darts, which draw the eye to the cinched in waist-line. The near full circle cut of the skirt, radiates from small gathered pleats from beneath the waist seam, completing this dress in an iconic 1950's silhouette.
This dress has been photographed with a medium petticoat, which is not included within the listing.
