Rendered in an iconic Lilli Ann silhouette, this original 1950's jacket, in a trio of shades of brown, is the perfect piece to add to your tailored vintage wardrobe.
Her V shaped neckline is framed by a rounded shawl collar, which boasts decorative pointed arrow panels along either side of the collar in shades of dark brown and coffee brown. The elegant shoulder line is accented with internally sewn shoulder pads, which set off the full length inset sleeves, which are in turn finished with turned up cuffs. The fitted bodice, draws in centrally with four brown pearlescent finished buttons, which are framed by 6 striped brown panels which run from below to bust-line to the waist-line. The cinched in waistline, is set off by an iconic peplum cut, that flares out below the waistline, and showcases the detailed 12 panelled cut along the hemline of the jacket.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect condition. Gentle yellowing along the internal back of the collar and along the folds to the sides. A small pin hole to the wool along the front right hand side of the collar. Very gentle and light scattering of age marks along the front right hand side of the peplum, this is along the seam and concealed by the flare of the peplum design. A small pin hole to the wool along the right hand side turned up cuff. A small darn along the left hand side sleeve. Light yellowing to the edges of the Lilli Ann Tag internally. Very light and gentle thinning to the silk lining beneath where to label is situated.. These minor issues are not apparent when the jacket is being worn, and only noticeable under close inspection.
