This elegant 1940's nightdress, rendered in a peachy pink shade of rayon and accented by cream and grey embroidered floral lace cut out designs, is just the piece to welcome to your lingerie collection.
The square shaped neckline, is framed by a border of embroidered floral lace, which joins the shoulder line in elegant shoulder straps. The bust-line is accented by draped pleats, which radiate from below the lace neckline draping across the bust, to join the lace panel above the waist. The elegant bias cut of the skirt-line, skims the silhouette, whilst completing this piece in an iconic early 1940's silhouette. Finished with a V shaped backline.

Condition: This nightdress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. There are 5 small black dots ( the size of pen dots along the bottom left hand side of the skirt line and 2 along the right hand side of the hemline. A very small pin hole below the lace panel above the waistline. A few very small pin sized age marks along the lace panels surrounding the neckline and under the bust-line. A small area of wear to the rayon just below the V backline along the back of the nightdress. A few very faint wear marks to the rayon throughout. These minor issues are not apparent when the nightdress is being worn, and do not affect the overall quality of this piece. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
