This show stopping original 1960's evening gown, rendered in a silver striped lurex fabric, which is in turn embellished with pink trailing soutache embroidery, claw set rhinestones and pink beadwork, and contrasted with a ballerina pink faille, is a truly iconic and timeless gown to add to your vintage collection.
The rounded bateau cut neckline, is framed by a border of pink and silver lined bugle beads and pearlescent champagne pink coloured beads. The medium width shoulder straps, are edged with a matching border of beadwork and set off the sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts along the bust-line and is fully embellished in trailing pink soutache embroidery, pink and silver glass bugle bead accents and finished with silver claw set rhinestones, upon a silver and white striped lurex base. The cinched in waistline is set off by a slim pink faille belt which draws in with a hook and eye beneath the centrally positioned bow. The elegant line of the bodice finished just below the waistline and is edged with a matching border of beadwork to that along the neckline. The elegant line of the skirt, is accented by small gathered pleats that radiate from the base of the bodice and drape along the length of the skirt, completing this mesmerising vision in a timeless and iconic 1960's silhouette.
This dress is lined in pink nylon and cotton interfacing along the skirt-line.
