A rare set to behold, these original 1930's cream silk and lace pyjamas, are the perfect ensemble to add to your loungewear collection.
The rounded neckline of the blouse, is framed by a simple shoulder line and a sleeveless cut. The blouson cut, drapes along the bodice, joining the wide double panelled waistband, which draws in along the left hand side of the waistline, gathering the silk in pleats whilst showcasing a wonderful side sash, concealing the two press stud fastenings along the side seam. The side panels of the blouse are rendered in a soft cream floral lace.
The high rise cut of the trousers is accented by a simple waistline, which features side press stud fastenings along the left hand side, concealed beneath the lace panel. The tailored darts along the front and back of the hipline, accent the cut, whilst drawing the eye to the elegant wide leg cut, finished with silk turned up cuffs. The trousers feature lace panels along each side seam, mimicking those found on the blouse, completing this ensemble in a truly mesmerising design.

Closures: The blouse fastens with two concealed press studs along the left hand side, side seam and a knotted side sash which draws the waistline in. The trousers fastens with a hook and eye and four press studs.
Condition : These pyjamas are in good but not perfect vintage condition. The blouse has a scattering of age marks along the back of the neckline to the left hand side. There is a pin sized age mark along the back right hand side of the lower panel of the hemline. A very minor repair to the lace along the right hand side lace panel just below the armhole. The trousers show gentle impression marks to the silk along the front of the right hand side leg. Gentle lifting to some of the lace threads along each side panel. There are two age marks along the left hand side lace panel at calf height. A small age mark along the bottom half of the back of the right hand side leg. These minor imperfections are not overly apparent when the pyjamas are being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report. This set has been priced accordingly.
