A vision to shimmy and shake in, this original 1950's black crepe silk skirt and blouse set, embellished with black nylon fringing, is just the piece to add to your cocktail wardrobe.
The rounded neckline of the blouse, is framed by a simple shoulder line and a sleeveless cut. The bust-line is embellished with a single wide strand of fringing which sits above the bust, concealing the bust darts, while accenting any movement made. The blouse cut of the blouse billows out and draws in along the hemline with a simple waist-band which draws together with a matching crepe silk tie beneath the side zip fastening.
The matching skirt, boasts a simple fitted waistband, which draws in along the side seam with a zip and button fastening. The tailored darts which run from below the waistband, set off the elegant fitted cut of the skirt, which boasts three tiers of fringing along the bottom of the hemline. Finished with a small side vent along the left hand side of the hemline to aid in the ease of movement whilst wearing the skirt.
