This divine 1910's Edwardian tulle blouse in a soft shade of antique cream, embellished with cream silk trailing floral embroidery with cut out embroidered details, is a rare piece to behold.
The rounded neckline of the blouse, is framed by a Peter Pan collar, accented by trailing floral embroidery and edged with pleated tulle, creating soft gathers along the neckline. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves, which are accented by softly gathered pleats along each shoulder seam, creating a softly puffed design, which draw the eye to the elegant embroidery details along each cuff. The straight cut of the bodice, sets off the truly magnificent floral embroidery and cut out details, which feature along the front and back of the blouse. Finished with tailored darts along the hemline, and press stud fastenings along the side seam. This blouse is sheer, and may need to be worn with a slip to conceal one's modesty.

Closures: This blouse fastens along the nape with a small button and loop, and along the side seam with 4 press studs.
Condition: In near perfect vintage condition. Two small mends to the tulle beneath theft hand side of the collar along the front left hand side yoke. A small pin hole to the tulle along the left sleeve. A small mend to the tulle along the left hand side sleeve within the pleated gathers along the top of the sleeve. A very small pin sized age mark along the front left hand side of the bodice below the bust-line. A small pin hole to the Tulle along the back of the left hand side shoulder just below the seam. A small pin sized age mark along the centre back of the hemline. These minor details are in no way apparent when the blouse is being worn and only apparent upon close inspection.
