Rendered in a wonderful repeat brocade pattern of sheaves of wheat in a palette of browns and pale yellows, this exquisite 1930's jacket, is the perfect piece to add to your vintage wardrobe.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a slim turned down shawl collar. The shoulder line is accented by tailored darts along each yoke. The eye-catching puffed sleeves boast box pleats along the top of each shoulder seam, which set off the fitted cuff. The elegant fitted line of the bodice boasts tailored darts along the waistline, drawing it in, whilst setting off the floral metal rhinestone embellished buttons. This jacket is not lined.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect vintage condition, with areas of very gentle wear to the brocade along the right hand side front near the sleeve seam. A small woven darn along the base of the left hand side sleeve. The floral metal buttons have tarnishing to the metal finish and one appears to now be silver rather than gold. These minor issues are not apparent when the jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.
