Rendered in the softest shade of cream silk, set off by a green rayon accent and embellished with a pattern of swirling sequins in shades of pink, blue and green, this original 1960's cocktail dress is just the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by medium width shoulder straps, rendered in a woven wool fabric and in turn embellished with matching sequins. The fitted wool bodice is embellished with sequins and accented by tailored darts along the bust-line, finished with a band of green rayon silk, with a central bow above the waistline, in an empire line cut. The A line cream silk skirt line, contrasts the elaborately embellished bodice and completes this dress in a timeless and iconic 1960s silhouette. This dress is lined in cotton along the skirt-line and rayon along the top of the bodice and shoulder line.

Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. There is colour variation to the green rayon band along the base of the bodice. Light and natural sequin loss, which is not apparent when the dress is being worn. A few gentle surface scratches and gentle impression marks to the satin skirt. The dress appears to have been shortened. These minor imperfections are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
