The elegant wide square cut neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line and short capped sleeves. The fitted bodice, is accented by tailored darts along either side of the bust-line and below the bust-line, drawing the eye to the fitted waistline and centrally curved skirt seam. The rounded point skirt-seam, is accented by small pleated gathers, which allow for the silk to drape in subtle pleats along the length of the skirt-line. Finished with a pointed skirt seam along the back of the waistline, every detail of this piece showcases the iconic silhouette and design of the era.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Three small pin holes along the right hand side of the bodice, near the double darts along the length of the bodice. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
