This truly incredible 1930's champagne coloured satin gown, accented with structured decorative pintucked pleats and cream floral lace, is a marvel to behold.
The scalloped edge neckline is framed by cream floral lace, which contours the yokes and becomes the medium width shoulder straps, setting off the sleeveless cut. The deep illusion lace décolletage, is positioned centrally and sets off the curved satin panels along either side of the bust-line. The satin bodice, boasts delicately stitched pintucked pleats, which radiate along the length of the bodice to join the top of the hipline in a triangular design, creating subtle pleats along the length of the skirt. The back of the gown, is accented by a matching design, completing this piece whilst showcasing the incredible craftsmanship of the era.

Condition: This gown is in good but not perfect vintage condition. A very gentle age mark along the bottom right hand side front of the hemline. A larger light age mark/water mark along the front left hand side of the skirt-line.A few very gentle surface scratches to the satin along the skirt-line. Two small age marks to the lace along the back left hand side shoulder and two smaller ones positioned below. One of the pleats along the back of the bodice has been extended into the skirt-line to conceal a small hole to the satin, this is well concealed by the drape and natural pleats along the skirt. A few very small pin sized age marks along the back of the skirt-line. These minor issues and imperfections are not apparent when the gown is being worn, as they are well concealed by the lustre of the satin and the drape, these are only noticeable upon close inspection.
