A classic silhouette rendered in the softest shade of sage green silk, with embroidered lace accents, this original 1960's skirt suit is just the perfect addition to your tailored wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by a Peter Pan collar, which showcases a cut out and embroidered floral lace design. The simple shoulder line, sets off the bracelet length inset sleeves, which are edged with matching cut away lace details along the cuffs. The tailored cut of the jacket, showcases tailored darts along either side of the bust-line, which draw the eye to the decorative panel along the front of the waistline, which is in turn finished with a central bow in matching silk. The curved seams along either side of the bodice, accent the central lace embellished silk button fastenings and box cut of the jacket. The jacket is fully line in sage green silk. The matching skirt, sits perfectly beneath the jacket and boasts a simple fitted waistband, from which double tailored darts radiate along either side of the front and the back of the skirt . The classic straight line of the skirt, completes this ensemble in a timeless and iconic 1960's silhouette and is finished with a central back slit. The skirt is fully lined in sage green tissue silk.

Condition: This suit is in near perfect vintage condition, with a very small area of surface wear to the silk weave along the left hand side bust area. This is not overly apparent when the suit is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
