Rendered in a truly iconic silhouette this original 1940's black crepe silk dress, embellished with rose gold tone metal studs, is just the piece to add to your cocktail collection.
The rounded neckline of the dress, is framed by a triple border of metal studs, in a gradient of sizes. The simple shoulder line, sets off the short length sleeves. The fitted bodice, is embellished with a pattern of scattered claw set studs, which draw the eye to the double tailored darts along either side of the base of the bodice, accenting the fitted waistline whilst creating subtle tailoring along the base of the bust-line. The skirt-line is set off my smocking stitch details along either side of the front of the skirt just beneath the waistline, which create soft draped pleats along the length of the dress, completing this piece in a timeless and iconic silhouette.
