This breathtaking 1930's black crepe silk evening dress, decorated with silver claw set rhinestones, is just the piece for that special evening occasion.
The V shaped neckline of the dress is framed by a border of claw set rhinestones. The simple shoulder line, sets of the short length sleeves which are decorated with scattered silver claw set rhinestones and edged with a border of claw set rhinestones along each cuff, which are finished with pointed details. The fitted bodice of the dress is accented by scattered claw set rhinestones, along the shoulder lines, sleeves and bust-line, which is finished with a border of silver claw set rhinestones along the pointed seam beneath the bust line. The seam beneath the bust line boasts gathered pleats that radiate upwards along the bust. The fitted bodice draws the eye to the cinched in waistline and dropped waist seam from which central gathered pleats radiate along the length of the panelled skirt-line. The elegant line of the skirt drapes with a slightly longer hemline along the back of the dress. Finished with a scattering of claw set rhinestones along the back of the bodice and a claw set rhinestones embellished back seam.

Condition: This dress is in perfect vintage condition with a very small darns just above the dropped waist seam. This is in no way apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable under very close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report .
