This divine 1950's raspberry satin dress with a brocade pattern of blooming roses, is just the perfect piece for your cocktail wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by a simple shoulder line and 3/4 length sleeves. The fitted bodice is set off by a matching swirling silk rosette along the left hand side of the bust-line, from which gathers of satin brocade form delicate pleats that radiate along the bodice and overlap an un-pleated panel, creating an elegant pointed detail above the cinched in waistline. The skirt is accented by gathered pleats along each side of the hipline and along the back of the skirt, which boasts a scoop dropped waistline, completing this dress in an iconic and breathtaking 1950’s design.
