Rendered in the most eye-catching silhouette, this original vintage 1950's Emma Domb dress, in shades of cream lace and ivory nylon chiffon, is just the piece for that special occasion.
The rounded illusion neckline is framed by a piped edge and medium width shoulder straps, which set off the sleeveless cut. The internal boned bodice is accented by a cream lace over-lay which accents the sweetheart neckline beneath the nylon chiffon illusion neckline. The fitted bodice is set off by small gathered pleats which radiate from the shoulder seams and rounded neckline, joining the cinched in waist-panel which is set off by horizontal pleats. The full circle cut of the skirt-line drapes from gathered pleats along the waist-seam, completing this dress in an iconic 1950's fit and flare silhouette. The skirt-line is composed of two layers of nylon tulle above a cream rayon lining. The bodice is lined in rayon.

Closures: This dress fastens along the back with a 14 inch metal zip , a hook and loop along the nape and two hook and loops along the waistline which aid in concealing the zip.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. The rayon lining of bodice shows slight signs of yellowing internally. A few very small pulls to the nylon chiffon overlay along the top of the bodice and within the skirt line. A small age mark along the left hand side of the skirt-line. A few very small scattered pin holes to the nylon chiffon overlay of the skirt line. These minor details are in no way apparent when the dress is being worn.
