Rendered in a cream nylon, accented by pleated gathers, lace and ribbons, this original 1950's lingerie set, is just the piece to add to your intimates collection.
The sweetheart shaped neckline, is framed by medium width shoulder straps, which boast central pleated gathers, framed to each side with eye-lash trimmed lace panels. This pattern is continued along the décolletage . The plain nylon cups of the bust-line are accented by a central pleated and gathers pointed seam, which is framed by lace along each side. The simple silhouette, drapes from gathered pleats below the bust-line, that drape along the length of the gown, which is finished with a lace edge hemline.
The matching robe, boasts a rounded neckline framed by a slim turned down collar, edged with lace. The elegant dropped shoulder line, is accented by a gathered nylon and lace edge panel, which runs along either side of the yokes and top of the sleeves. The short length puffed sleeves, are finished with elasticated cuffs, which create subtle pleats along each sleeve, which are in turn finished with delicate lace edgings.
The wide cut of the robe, drapes perfectly above the gown, and draws in centrally with two ribbon fastenings. Finished with a lace edged hemline to match the one found on the gown.

Condition: This nightdress is in near perfect vintage condition, there are two small and very faint age marks along the front left hand side of the robe below the bust-line. These are not apparent when the set is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
