Rendered in the softest shade of pale pink shantung silk and embellished with bright gold beads, pearlescent beads and pink claw set rhinestones, in a swirling paisley pattern, this original 1960's cocktail dress is just the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection.
The softly rounded neckline is framed by medium width shoulder straps, which are embellished with trailing beadwork, joining the top of the bodice and bust-line in an elegant paisley bead and rhinestone embellished pattern. The sleeveless cut, accents the A line of the dress, which boasts a fitted bodice, which continues along the skirt line as it flares out along the hemline into an A line silhouette. Finished with pale pink rayon lining and a central metal zip fastening along the back of the dress, every detail of this dress showcases the iconic design of the era.

Condition: This dress is in good but not perfect vintage condition, with very minor bead loss. This is in no way apparent when the dress is being worn. There is a small areas of wear to the silk along the front left hand side of the skirt line. A few very subtle and light areas of gentle age marks, these are very faint and only apparent under very close inspection. This dress appears to have been shortened. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
