This truly captivating 1930's pink silk satin and mocha lace jacket, accented by detailed smocking stitches, is just the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection.
The open cut neckline, is edged with a border of trailing floral mocha coloured lace, which contours the nape and either side of the front of the jacket, joining the silk panels beneath dark brown stitches. The simple shoulder lines are accented by lace panels, which descend along the top of each inset sleeve, joining matching lace cuffs.The sleeves and shoulder lines are set off by delicate smocking stitches, which accent the curved kimono cut of the sleeves, whilst creating subtle pleats along the front of the bodice. Finished with a swing cut backline, every detail of this piece showcases the delicate design details of the era. This jacket is fully lined in silk.

Condition: This jacket is in near perfect vintage condition. Very gentle water marks along the left hand side cuff and one along the right hand side sleeve. A small pin sized age mark along the front right hand side yoke near the lace edge to the front. These minor details are not apparent when the jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as these form part of the product description
