This timeless and iconic 1950's dress, in a ballerina pink layered tulle, with delicate sewn ribbon accents, is the perfect piece for any special occasion.
The strapless neckline of the dress, features a sweetheart décolletage, which is accented by three decorative layers along each cup, creating a raised and accented design, which is set off by three layers of pleated and gathered tulle along the base cup. The fitted and boned bodice, boasts a tulle overlay above a pink rayon lining. The cinched in waistline, sets off the wonderful near full skirt, which is accented by two layers of tulle above a pink rayon lining. The top layer of tulle is decorated with an alternating pattern of pleated and gathered tulle and sewn ribbons, creating a striped design.

Closures: This dress fastens along the side seam with a 13 inch metal zip and hook and loop
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Some light and gentle colour variation to the rayon lining of the bodice. This is slightly apparent along the front of the left hand side of the bodice above the waistline, where the rayon appears slightly yellowed. Gentle yellowing along the top edges of the bodice near the armpits. One small mend to the top layer of tulle along the hemline, this is not apparent and is well concealed within the pleated gathers and drape. Light yellowing to the internal rayon of the bodice. These minor details are in not overly apparent when the dress is being worn.Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
