This mesmerising 1960's hot pink matelasse velvet coat, lined in cream satin, is the perfect statement piece to add to your vintage collection.
The stand-away mandarin collar is framed by a simple shoulder. The full length sleeves boast pleated gathers along each shoulder seam. The wonderful A line cut of the coat is accented by central matching velvet covered button fastenings, that fasten above fuchsia pink velvet edged button holes. Finished with two front pockets along either side of the hipline and entirely lined in cream satin, this wonderful coat showcases the textural designs and iconic style of the era.

Condition: This coat is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Natural impression marks to the velvet pile. Light and natural pile loss to the velvet in some areas throughout the coat. Light colour transfer to the cream satin lining. These minor details are not apparent when the coat is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
