This beautifully tailored 1960's Pierre Cardin black wool skirt suit, rendered in an iconic 1960's silhouette, is the perfect addition to your vintage collection.
The V shaped neckline of the jacket is framed by a notched collar which boasts decorative running stitch details in a striped pattern. The simple shoulder line sets off the full length inset sleeves. The elegant fitted silhouette of the jacket, showcases sewn pleat work that begins beneath each shoulder line and runs along the length of the bodice finishing just above the hemline, creating a gently flares design along the hem. The longline cut of the jacket is accented by the central black button fastenings. The matching pleat work can be found along the back of the jacket. The jacket is fully lined in a nylon mix.
The matching skirt sits perfectly beneath the jacket and boasts a simple waistband, from which small gathered pleats radiate from either side of the front of the waistband. Finished with an iconic straight cut with a central back split along the back of the hemline. The skirt is fully lined in a nylon mix .
