The wide rounded neckline of the dress, is set off by bracelet length inset sleeves, and a fitted bodice, which boasts tailored darts below the bust-line. The elegant cinched in waistline is accented by a matching piped detail and a central decorative bow. The satin skirt, boasts box pleats that drape from either side of the central bow and along the back of the dress. Finished with a tulle petticoat and lined in interfacing to add structure to the satin skirt, this eye-catching piece showcases the iconic silhouette of the era.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Gentle lifting and wear to the lurex brocade pattern along the bodice, this is along the armpits and top of the sleeve areas, these areas have been delicately sewn and darned in place to avoid any further lifting of the pattern. Gentle and light water marks within the satin skirt, these are well concealed within the pleats and not apparent when the dress is being worn. A few very faint and gentle areas of light foxing along the skirt line, again these are well concealed within the pleats and lustre of the satin. Fastenings: This dress fastens at the back with a 15.5 inch plastic zip and a hook and loop
Washing instructions: This garment should be dry cleaned or hand washed in cool water.
