Rendered in the most incredible shade of yellow in a lightweight woven cotton, this original 1940's swing coat is just the piece to welcome to your mid season wardrobe.
The elegant neckline is framed by a rounded shawl collar, which draws together centrally beneath a clear lucite button. The simple shoulder line, is accented by internally sewn shoulder pads. The bracelet length inset sleeves are finished with wide turned up cuffs. The A line silhouette of the coat, is set off by two slit pockets at waistline height. Finished with a sweeping back-line and a pointed collar detail along the nape, completing this coat in an iconic 1940's silhouette. This coat is fully lined in a white rayon lining.

Condition: This coat is in good but not perfect vintage condition. Three small pin sized age marks along the front of the left hand side cuff. Two small age marks along the back of the right hand side sleeve near the arm hole seam, and one along the other side of the seam to the back right hand side of the coat. Two small pin sized age marks positioned not far from those near to armhole seam. Three small areas of wear to the rayon along the internal left hand side of the coat lining. These minor detail are not apparent when the jacket is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the product description.
