Rendered in the most sumptuous shade of pink shantung silk and accented by silver and pink glass rhinestones and silver beadwork, this original 1960's Christian Dior Dress, is a rare piece to behold
The rounded halter neckline is accented by a circular panel of silver and pink rhinestones and glass beadwork that contour the nape and join either side of the front of the neckline, where a threaded panel design is apparent, framing the central rhinestone embellishments along the décolletage. The halter neckline of the dress fastens along the nape with two hook and eyes. The open backline of the dress is set off by the central zip fastening. The fitted bodice of the dress draws the eye to the fitted waistline, and tailored seams, which drape elegantly into an A line cut skirt-line. The dress features an internal boned bodice, which is constructed of soft cotton tulle and silk, allowing for the external construction of the dress to sit perfectly along the silhouette of the internal construction.. The original Christian Dior Tab sits internally along the hemline of the dress.
