This 1950's soft cream wool and Angora mix cardigan, embellished with pearlescent white rocaille beads and pearlescent beads with iridescent sequin and bead accents, is the perfect piece to keep the chill away.
The rounded neckline is framed by a border of pearlescent beads which in turn frames a contouring panel of pearlescent cream beads, this framework edges the neckline, cuffs, hemline and front of the cardigan. The simple shoulder line, sets off the 3/4 length inset sleeves, which are edged with ribbed cuffs. The sleeves are embellished with scattered sequins and beads, and finished with floral beaded patterns along each external side. The elegant cut, is accented by concealed hook and eye fastenings along the centre front, which are framed to each side by trailing floral designs in beadwork and a scattered pattern of sequins and beads. The back of the cardigan features a scattered floral beaded pattern. Finished with a scalloped hemline which is in turn embellished with border beadwork. This cardigan is lined in silk along the bodice.
