A vision rendered in a truly embellished fashion, this original vintage 1960's cream wool silk dress, embellished with silver glass beads, pearlescent beads, gold beads and silver claw set rhinestones, showcases the incredible design and craftsmanship of the era.
The high rounded neckline is edged with a border of pearlescent beads below which the incredible beaded pattern commences, in a floral and geometric pattern, radiating along the front and back of the bodice and finishing in scattered pearlescent droplet beads framed with silver glass beads, gold accent beads and clear glass bead features. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves, which are edged with decorative beadwork along each cuff, which are in turned finished with small metal zip fastenings and hook and loops, drawing the cuffs in. The fitted bodice of the dress is accented by tailored bust darts , which draw the eye to the fitted waistline, which is set off by a sewn in matching belt feature. The A line cut of the skirt, is completed with two small pockets either side of the front panel seam. This dress is fully lined in silk.

Closures: This dress fastens along the back with a 20.5 inch metal zip and two hook and eyes along the nape of the collar and two hook and eyes along the centre back of the belt.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. Very light beadwork loss along the edges of each beaded cuffs . Gentle surface wear to some of the beadwork These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon closer inspection.
