An eye-catching piece to behold this original 1960's dress, rendered in a blue floral lace which is in turn embellished with blue pearlescent beads, small pale blue glass bead and silver bugle beads, contrasting the effortless sky blue pleated chiffon, is just the piece to add to your vintage collection.
The rounded neckline of the dress is framed by a border of beadwork, setting off the neckline whilst drawing the eye to the nude coloured chiffon lining of the bodice, creating an illusion straight cut décolletage where it joins the blue nylon lining along the bust-line.The simple shoulder line of the dress, sets off the short length inset sleeves, which are edged with scalloped details from the lace, which is in turn embellished with beadwork. The lace overlay of the bodice, boasts a floral pattern, which is embellished with beadwork. The fitted bodice draws the eye to the cinched in waistline, which is set off by a pleated sky blue chiffon panel. The elegant skirt drapes from the waistline in a chiffon pleated overlay, which is edged with a nylon threaded hemline, creating undulating pleats to the chiffon. The skirt is lined in a blue nylon to match the one along the bottom part of the bodice.

Condition: This dress is in perfect vintage condition, with very gentle loss of beads to the bodice ( this is to be expected of a piece this age) A very small age mark concealed within the pleats of the skirt along the front right hand side of the skirt just above the hemline. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
