This original 1940's wax flower headpiece, constructed on a rayon covered headband, which is in turn wrapped in soft cream tulle, which binds the wax flower clusters to the base, is just the piece to add to your timeless vintage collection. The elegant floral clusters boast wire stems and small cut fabric and wire stamens, and are framed in areas by delicate pearlescent buds. Condition: This headpiece is in near perfect vintage condition. There are as expected a few buds and flowers missing. Gentle wear to some of the wire finishings. This is not apparent when the headpiece is being worn and only noticeable upon very close inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
