A vision to behold, this original 1960's Pat Sandler for Highlights dress, rendered in a wonderful peacock palette silk paisley patterned brocade, and embellished with iridescent green sequins, gold, black, and blue glass beads and finished with claw set silver and blue rhinestones is a rare piece of exquisite craftsmanship.
The rounded notched neckline, sets off the elegant shoulder line and sleeveless cut. The fitted bodice is accented by tailored Princess seams, which draw the eye to the fitted waistline. The cinched in waistline, is accented by a matching embellished belt, which draws in along the front of the dress and can be worn in a knot or a stylised bow. The tailored skirt, boasts small gathered pleats to either side of the front of the waist, which allow for the wonderful structure and silhouette of the dress. This dress is fully lined in sea green silk taffeta.

Condition: This dress is in perfect vintage condition. Very light beadwork loss along the edges of the belt. These minor details are not apparent when the dress is being worn and only noticeable upon close inspection.
