Rendered in the most incredible shade of peacock green Duchess satin and lined in a peacock blue rayon, this original vintage 1950's Neiman Marcus Swing coat is a rare piece to behold.
The elegant bateau cut neckline of the coat draws together in a cross over design with a concealed press stud and a hook and loop. The neckline features wide box pleats, from which the satin drapes along the length of the coat. The simple shoulder line, sets off the mid length raglan cut sleeves, which are decorated with large matching duchess satin bows along the back of each side. The incredible wide swing cut of this piece, drapes in layers of pleated duchess satin, completing this piece in an iconic and timeless 1950's silhouette.

Armpit to Armpit : up to 64 inches

Closures: A concealed press stud and a hook and eye along the front of the neckline
Condition: This coat is in near perfect condition. A small linear mark along the outside of the left hand side sleeve, this appear as a slightly faded shade of peacock green. An area of minor colour variation below the left hand side sleeve along the hip area. A few areas of minor colour fading well concealed within the pleats and drape of the satin. These minor issues are not apparent when the coat is being worn, and only visible under very close inspection. Please refer to the photographs as they form part of the condition report.
