This elegant 1930's gown, rendered in the most classic shade of peach rayon silk, set off by cream and taupe floral lace accents, is just the piece to welcome to your lingerie collection.
The elegant straight cut neckline is accented by a central V shaped panel, which boasts gathered stitches along a central seam, which is in turn decorated by pastel coloured rosette appliqués. The V shaped panel is framed by cream and taupe pace appliqués, which cross the bodice below the bust-line and join the front of the shoulders in decorative double lace straps.The top of the bodice is edged with matching lace, from which the rayon pleats softly, creating subtle pleats along either side of the bust-line. Finished with a bias cut along the length of the skirt line, which is trimmed with a border of lace along the hemline, in a central raised point cut, finished with a pastel coloured rosette appliqués This gown skims the silhouette whilst showcasing the iconic design of the era.

Condition: This gown is in near perfect vintage condition, with a few very gentle impressions to the rayon silk. The third rosette along the front of the bodice has some light thread lifting. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
