The rounded squared neckline is framed by a cream floral lace border, which sets off the elegant short capped sleeves, edged with cream floral lace along each cuff. The blouson cut of the bodice, is accented by sewn pleats, which are kept in place by the lace panel along the neckline and the one found along the waistline. The fitted waist, is accented by a matching cream floral lace panel in a detailed scalloped design. Finished with a flowing pleated skirt line, every detail of the piece showcases the design and style of the era.

Condition: This nightdress is in good but not perfect vintage condition. The pleats along the skirt line are a little loser than those along the bodice. Faint discolouration to the lace along the base of the armholes. There are belt loops but this piece did not have its belt. This minor details are not apparent when the gown is being worn and are only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
