This truly eye-catching 1960's silk evening dress by Nina Ricci, rendered in a striped black and brown silk velvet pattern with brown silk chiffon striped accents is the perfect piece for that special occasion.
The elegant rounded neckline is framed by a black silk pointed collar. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves, The fitted bodice, draws the eye to the cinched in waistline. The timeless longline silhouette of the dress is accented by inverted box pleats which drape from the waist seam along the hiplines, creating subtle pleats along either side of the front of the dress and along the back. This dress is not lined.

Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition with light and natural impression to the silk velvet which is a natural process. A small seam mend along the left hand side sleeve along the sleeve seam.These minor issues are not overly apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon closer inspection. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
