Rendered in a classic shade of navy lightweight wool and fully lined in navy blue silk, this original 1950's Christian Dior Bar jacket, is sure to be a favourite in your tailored vintage collection.
The V shaped neckline is framed by a sloping shoulder line, which boasts internally sewn shoulder pads along each shoulder seam. The neckline is framed by notched lapels, which draw the eye to the cinched in waistline and double breasted cut. The bracelet length inset sleeves, frame the tailored silhouette, which is set off by soft padding below the waistline, creating an exaggerated curve, an iconic feature of the Bar jacket. Finished with two front pockets along either side of the front, which boast turned down collars, concealing the openings, and a central back vent. This jacket showcases the iconic silhouette Christian Dior was known for designing.
