This mesmerising 1960's black silk organza dress, embellished with a checkered and daisy pattern, rendered in white and silver sequins, white faceted plastic beads and gold toned silver daisy sequins, is just the perfect piece to add a touch of iconic 1960's sparkle to your cocktail wardrobe.
The rounded neckline is framed by a border of sequins and beadwork. The simple shoulder line, sets off the full length inset sleeves, which are edged with beaded and sequin borders along each cuff. The sleeves are decorated with a checkered and daisy pattern in sequins and beads. The elegant A line silhouette of the dress, boasts tailored Princess seams along either side of the front of the dress, concealed by the elaborated beaded and sequinned pattern. Finished with a matching beaded and sequin embellished border along the hemline. This dress is slightly sheer and the use of a slip may be required to conceal ones' modesty.

Closures: This dress fastens along the back with 11 concealed press studs.
Condition: This dress is in near perfect vintage condition. A small and well concealed darn along the back right hand side of the neckline. Light and natural bead loss thought. Light and natural sequin loss throughout, some of the statement white daisies are missing petals. This is to be expected of a piece like this. This is in no way apparent when the dress is being worn, and only noticeable upon very close inspection. Please refer to the photgraphs, as they form part of the condition report.
