This wonderful 1940's mocha coloured felt handbag, accented by gold toned metal hardware, is the perfect accessory for your everyday wardrobe.
The soft felt handle, joins either side of the straight line frame with gold toned metal hardware, which sets off the central lift lock clasp. The elegant rectangular shape of the bag, boast gathered pleats along either side of the tops of the frame, which radiate along the front of reverse of the bag. The handbag opens to a brown rayon lining, with a central zip lock compartment two larger compartments and two small side pockets.

Condition: In near perfect vintage condition with light and gentle tarnishing to the metal hardware and the brass feature. Very gentle surface wear to the external felt, very gentle thinning along the base of the bag . A very small darn along one of the sides of the bag just above the base. There is a pleat that has been sewn in place to conceal a small hole. Light and natural wear to the rayon lining , with internal dye variations along internal sides of the lining.
