This original late 1940's dress, rendered in the most sumptuous mauve coloured taffeta, with silver reflections, accented by gathered pleats and detailed from pockets, is just the piece for your cocktail wardrobe.
The V shaped cross over neckline of the dress is framed by a simple shoulder line, accented by slim gathered pleats along the shoulder seams that drape across each yoke panel. The inbuilt shoulder pads of the dress set off the short length sleeves, edged with wide pointed turned up cuffs. The fitted bodice of the dress is set off by detailed pleats, that contrast the simple taffeta yokes and draw the eye to the fitted waistline. The wonderful skirt boasts gathered pleats that drape from the waistline into the Demi-cicle cut, finished with two front pockets with rounded collar details.
