This wonderful 1940's black wool, brass and lucite handbag is the perfect accessory for your everyday wardrobe.
The soft wool handle, frames the curved wool covered frame and central clear lucite and brass lift lock clasp. The black wool base of the bag boasts box pleats along the front and reverse, which set off the rounded shape of the bag. The handbag opens to a black satin lining, with a central compartment, 3 side pockets and a zip lock side pocket.

Condition: In near perfect vintage condition with light and gentle tarnishing to the metal hardware and the brass feature. Very gentle surface scratches to the lucite clasp. There is a very small mend to the black wool exterior of the bag, this is well concealed within a pleat and not apparent when the bag is being worn. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the condition report.
