"Lotus Chenille" Vintage 1940's Turquoise Chenille Dressing Gown UK 10 US 6

£291.00

Rendered in a palette of turquoise blue, this original 1940's chenille dressing gown, accented by a decorative lotus and geometric pattern along the hemline, is a wonderful addition to your loungewear collection.

The V shaped neckline is framed by softly turned down notched lapels, which cross over along the décolletage. The simple shoulder line, is set off by slim internal shoulder pads along each shoulder seam, which set off the mid length inset sleeves, edged with turned up cuffs. The fitted bodice, draws in along the waistline, which is fastened internally with cotton ties, and externally with a matching chenille waist belt.
The simple skirt-line, showcases the wonderful drape and iconic style of the era and is finished with a curved pocket along the right hand side of the hipline.

Vintage garments have been previously worn and lovingly cared for, they may however have a blemish or two. Here at Willow Hilson, we try our very best to note all the details of each garment, although we may sometimes overlook things, which we do apologise for. Please do not expect perfection, unless stated so.

Please make sure you check all the measurements of the garment before purchasing. Vintage garment sizes are not the same as those of today. To ensure the best fit, we suggest you measure your favourite similar style garment and compare it to the measurements we have listed.
